Features: P-Bass Spingle Pole

The HendriX P-Bass Single Pole is based on the P-'51 single pole pickup.
It is a split coil hum-bucking pickup that fits in each Fender P-Bass type bass-guitar, without bodywork.

It was a logic step for Fender to design this one, they did not, so I did!

The P-'51 was a single pole, then the P-Bass split coil came, it was a double pole pickup.
When CBS took over, Leo Fender started Music Mann and later G&L, again with single pole pickups.
Somewhere down that line I think, is was expected that a P-Bass Single Pole split coil was designed.

Well, here is it and it makes perfect sense if you listen to the sound. Of course it's not a P-'51 with the 50/60 Hz
hum in it, it's a hum-bucker, but it has a fine growly kind of mid-range. So enough reason for 'sound loving
low frequency people' to fine-tune their P-Bass a bit more towards the 50's.
To have the best result, the strings should have exactly the same distance as the centre of the poles, which Fender
instruments sometimes don't have.
Therefore the spacing of this pickup will be custom made for your P-Bass and have that nice attack of the single poles.
